1) Overview

ABUDDI is a fitness app that lets you log your workouts, track your progress, and optionally chat with an AI coach. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

2) Data we collect

Account details (e.g. email address) to create and secure your account.
Fitness data you enter (e.g. workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, notes, dates).
App usage and diagnostics (e.g. crash logs, basic performance diagnostics) to keep the app stable.
AI chat content (optional) : When you use the coach/chat features, the messages you send and the assistant's responses may be stored to provide the feature and improve reliability.

You decide what you record. If you don't use a feature (like AI chat), we don't collect any data for it.

3) How we use your data

To provide the main app features (training recording, progress overview, favorites, etc.).
To verify your identity and protect your account.
To use AI features when you want them (for example, to answer questions or provide training instructions).
To troubleshoot issues and improve stability (crash/diagnostic information).
To comply with legal obligations when necessary.

4) Data storage and processors

ABUDDI uses external infrastructure providers to securely store and process data. Typical processors for this app include:

Database/backend hosting (e.g. Supabase) to store your account and fitness data.
AI processing (e.g. OpenAI) to generate responses when you use AI chat features.

We share only the minimum data necessary with processors to provide the features you use.

5) Share

We do not sell your personal information.

We may only share data in the following cases:

With service providers/processors that help run the app (see above).
As required by law or to comply with valid legal requests.
To protect the rights, safety and security of users and the app.

6) Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
When you delete your data or account, we will delete or anonymize it, unless we are required to retain certain data for legal reasons.

7) Your choices and rights

Access/Export: You can request a copy of your stored data.
Correction: You can update the data you entered in the app.
To delete: You can delete your account and associated data (see next section).
Withdraw consent: You can stop using optional features (such as AI chat) at any time.

8) Delete your data

ABUDDI offers an option within the app to request deletion of your account and stored data. If you don't have access to the app, you can also request deletion by email.

In-app: Settings → Account → Delete account (or similar).
By email: send a request from your account email to privacy@abuddi.app.

Replace the email address above with your real support email (or keep it if you own it).

9) Children

ABUDDI is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
